It's Sunday.  Easter Sunday.  My family isn't in town with the exception of my brother. ( I don't want to hang with him)  I've spent the day walking the dogs (all 3 for the first time) and playing video games.  I did enjoy some ice cream.  Chocolate and Kit Kat.  Yes.

And of course, I took pictures and now you are forced to see them. :)

I just looked at the bag, and Royal Canin Adult Fit formula dry food does not contain wheat gluten.

Hi guys! Let me introduce myself:

Name: Michal Lorraine
Location: Canberra, Australia
Number of Burmese: One, six months old
Name: Rama
Type: He's brown (sable in America) and I'm pretty sure his a European Burmese as he's more oriental looking than the American Burmese. I dunno Maybe you can tell me?
Do you show or breed? No and no.
Favourite thing about the breed: I get lonely very easily. Quite often I find myself home alone while my housemates are doing their thing. But I always have my little Rama to
keep me company. When I pick him up and sit down, he stays with me, He follows me around which can be cute and annoying (As I'm sure you all know). And he comes
when he's called. I've never had a cat who loves me as much as I love it, and it's nice :-)

Name: Sabrina Claire
Location: Carrollton, Texas
Number of Burmese: Two
Names: Rissy and Nikki
Type: I'm pretty sure that Nikki is a Tonkinese and Rissy is an Sable American Burmese.
Do you show or breed? No and no.
Favourite thing about the breed: Their intelligence and their ability to love. My two cats have truly helped me through my times of depression. When I'm sad, they come and sit next to me or lay on the bed with me and stay with me until I'm calm again.
Pictures/additional comments: None.

Aaaaa! Bored Burmese!

My one burmese, Michael is sick, down with an eye ulcer and a rather nasty cold. We've been to the vet and it's being treated. However, the whole thing has left the little guy pretty lethargic. He's interested in playing, but has no stamina right now, since it's hard to breathe through a head of snot. (Aww.)

However, this has left my other burmese, Jon, without a play companion. And he's going bananas. He trills and mows for Michael, and tries to get him to play the "run around the house like loons" game. He chirps at me, a lot, but none of my attempts to play with him really are what he wants. He'll bat at the feather on the stick for a bit, and chase after the string for a bit... and then he'll sigh (yeah. he actually sighs.), and wander off. Or worse, he'll not play, and just sit there and stare at me. And then utter those long, pitiful and loud cries that only a burmese can produce.

I've had some success with the "kitty behind the curtain" game, but really, what he wants to do most in the world is tussle and run with Michael.

Any suggestions on what I can do to keep him calm and entertained for the next few days until Michael recovers?

Hello.  Haven't posted in a while but I've been busy moving into my new house. :) But Kahlua has been super cute so I had to take some pics of him.  He's really adjusting to the new house and new furniture.
